financial abuse tactics aimed at a custodial parent to get out of paying child support + spousal support hurts children most, because family resources go to lawyers + family court fees. parents lose time at both work + parenting, because they can't be in 2 places at once with attention + energy to personally work full time + care for children, since both are full time jobs.
