dwell lounge chair design competition :: contestcan you design the next classic? dwell + blu dot invite you to design the ultimate lounge chair. something "comfortable, sustainable, efficient, honest + affordable." the winning chair will go into production + join the blu dot collection at the international contemporary furniture fair in 2008. 3 finalist's designs will be chosen by a dwell/blu dot jury + previewed in august at dwell + you can cast your vote for your favorite entry at dwell.com/thelounge. finalists’ prototypes will be shown at dwell on design san francisco on September 15, 2007 + the winner will be announced. winner receives $5,000 cash. finalists receive $1,000 cash plus $1,000 credit at bludot.
