stand up to cancer will be a history-making interactive television special, uniting the nation as it is simultaneously aired on ABC, CBS + NBC to raise money + awareness for cancer research, early detection + treatment. it will feature 50+ stars of tv, film, sports, music + cancer science.
Stand Up To Cancer is designed to educate, inspire + entertain. jennifer aniston, scarlett johansson, charlize theron, christina applegate, meryl streep + sally field (the flying nun! i was her for halloween in 1st grade) are appearing along with dozens of other celebrities + sports figures. segments on cutting-edge research, reported by network news anchors katie couric, charles gibson, + brian williams, will include intimate dialogue with renowned scientists who are making big, potentially life-saving discoveries.
p.s. i'll be interviewing many of the emmy nominated performers next month! yipeee! i hope i get to meet sally field + the performers from ugly betty, project runway, 30 rock, boston legal, dancing with the stars, the office, saturday night live, desperate housewives, house, conan obrien, jimmy kimmel, david letterman, jay leno, extreme makeover home edition, samatha who + flight of the conchords!!! have any question suggestions?
